Marin Couple take Journeys for Good

Muir Beach couple Steve and Joanie Wynn pursue their passion project, Journeys for Good, a media initiative which celebrates global voluntourism.

Muir Beach husband and wife filmmaking team Steve and Joanie Wynn are pursuing their passion project, Journeys for Good, a media initiative which celebrates global voluntourism and the everyday heroes who offer their sweat equity as a way to connect to the world in a meaningful way.  Using social, mobile and traditional media, they hope to spread the message that anyone can be a voluntour hero.

The Wynn's travel with their 9 year-old son Ryan (a student at Willow Creek Academy in Sausalito). They immerse themselves in each project and work alongside the volunteers and local people to reveal each incredible story as it unfolds.

This January, The Wynn family traveled with non-profit Globe Aware to Cambodia to film the first episode of the series. Working alongside other volunteers, they participated in a range of volunteer projects, including building wheelchairs for landmine victims & teaching English to local school children.
