Woody's Yogurt Recognized With Three Swirl Honor

Woody's Yogurt Place in Strawberry Village was recently honored with The International Frozen Yogurt Association Honor Program for their frozen yogurt quality, store cleanliness, superior customer service, and environmentally friendly practices.

Woody's Yogurt Place in Strawberry Village was recently honored with The International Frozen Yogurt Association (IFYA)’s Honor Program for their frozen yogurt quality, store cleanliness, superior customer service, and environmentally friendly business practices.

It was announced in a press release last month that Woody’s was given the top recognition of three swirls (out of a possible three swirls).

The Swirl of Honor Program was launched by the IFYA in late 2013 to recognize excellence in frozen yogurt. As the first and only quality seal program specifically for frozen yogurt stores, the IFYA developed stringent quality standards. Recipients receive one to three Swirls (1 = good, 2 = very good, 3 = excellent) based on how they meet IFYA standards.

“Woody’s is a beloved part of Marin County, offering quality frozen yogurt and ice cream since 1964 and supporting local schools and sports teams,” said Susan Linton, IFYA President. “It’s the kind of classic place that kids and adults have loved going to for decades. They have plenty of flavors to please any palate, a friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices. We’re thrilled to see that they’re a certified Green America business and honored to have this local institution join our roster of Swirl of Honor shops.”

Owner Brian Woodson states, "My father and I have been in the frozen yogurt business for a long time and we think that the key to our continued success is our ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality products at very reasonable prices and by giving back to our local community. Woody's Yogurt Place is deeply honored to receive 3 Swirls from the International Frozen Yogurt Association. We applaud the association's efforts to recognize frozen yogurt excellence."

Woody’s Yogurt Place is located at 802 Strawberry Village, Mill Valley, CA 94941.

Swirl of HonorTM recipients are featured on the IFYA website. For more information about the Swirl of HonorTM program, please visit internationalfrozenyogurt.com
