Student Art Honored at Kiddo!'s Annual Art Show

Kiddo!'s annual art show is now on display at Bank of Marin's Mill Valley branch at 19 Sunnyside Avenue, running through Jan. 15, 2014.

Kiddo!’s annual art show is now on display at Bank of Marin’s Mill Valley branch at 19 Sunnyside Avenue, running through Jan. 15, 2014. 

The show includes art work from students who attend the five elementary schools and middle school in the Mill Valley School District. Pieces are selected by the art teachers, then the Kiddo! Arts Committee, headed by Lori Luc Faillace, selects the art work to be displayed. 

An opening reception was held at Bank of Marin on Tues., Dec. 3rd; participants in attendance included Emmaline Pearson, Zachary Breindel and Jackson Rozck from Tamalpais Valley School and Colin Moe from Park School.

Kiddo!, the Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation, is a non-profit organization composed of parents, teachers, business people and active members of the community who, since 1982, have raised tens of millions of dollars to supplement the limited school budgets of the Mill Valley School District. Kiddo! funds vital programs and teachers for the K-8 schools in Mill Valley – including art, music, drama, poetry, dance, P.E., technology, classroom aides and library aides.
