Letter from MVSD
Dear MVSD Parent Community,

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, it gives each of us an opportunity to reflect on the many blessings in our lives. One of many reasons the Mill Valley School District is such a wonderful place for students to learn and thrive is due to the exhaustive efforts of Kiddo!, our school district foundation.

Kiddo! is embarking on a district-wide family participation challenge. To date, 57% of our families have donated to Kiddo! and we thank these families for their donations. However, we need every family to support the vital programs that Kiddo! provides our students. The arts, classroom and library aides, technology support and P.E. are all part of what Kiddo! funds and we need your help to keep these teachers and programs enriching the lives of our children.

This year, if the family participation rate across the district reaches 75% by December 31, 2013, every student in the District will receive a free 8oz. frozen yogurt donated by Swirl. The suggested donation is $1,200 per student, however donations of any size are greatly appreciated and count toward getting Kiddo! closer to meeting the Swirl Challenge.
