Mill Valley Needs Representative on Marin Women's Commission

Are you passionate about women's causes? Here's an opportunity to make a difference.

Margaret Mead said, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

If you agree, you have an opportunity to help shape the future of women's lives and opportunities in Marin County. There is a vacancy on the Marin Women’s Commission for District 3 (Mill Valley, Strawberry, Tiburon, Belvedere, Marin City, Tam Valley, Sausalito and other nearby unincorporated areas).

The commission works to promote equal opportunity, economic independence, and access to resources for Marin County women through advocacy, research and partnerships.

The application deadline is 5 p.m. Aug. 12.   The appointing authority is the Marin County Board of Supervisors.

Apply online or learn more about the application process by calling the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at (415) 473-7331. You can also request an application by mail at Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Suite 329, 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael CA 94903.
