Care Package Collection for Troops Serving in Afghanistan

American Legion Auxiliary San Anselmo Unit 179 will be
collecting donated food and toiletry items for care packages for the military serving in combat zones in front of the Safeway store in the Strawberry Shopping Center in Mill Valley on Saturday, April 28, between 10:00 a.m.
and 5:00 p.m. Members will provide you with a list of requested items before you start your shopping.  In addition, shoppers can make a $20 donation and a “Hugs from Home” bag filled with toiletries will be shipped to a member of the military (the shoppers can also
write a personal greeting to be sent with the bag). American Legion Auxiliary San Anselmo Unit 179 would appreciate your assistance in sending care packages
to the men and women who are risking their lives in service to our country.  If you are interested in
becoming a member or have questions about this organization or the upcoming
collection, please email info@alaunit179.org
