Interview with Devin Pearson, current Freshman at UC Berkeley and 30th Round Draft Pick!

Check out this new video highlighting how the First Base Foundation helped summer ball 2012 standout, Devin Pearson, achieve his goal of playing baseball and studying at UC Berkeley.

Devin was awarded the 2012 Player of the Year award for his baseball successes, academic accomplishments, and strong work ethic. Pearson was one of the Warriors' team leaders in every hitting category, with a batting average of 441. He was drafted out of high school in the 30th round to the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2012 draft, but decided to pursue a college education and will play baseball at UC Berkeley. He posted a 4.2 GPA in high school.

The First Base Foundation is very proud of Devin's accomplishments, and wish him all the best in his Freshman year at CAL!
