California Warriors Sign 6 New Players for the 2013 Collegiate Summer Season

The California Warriors have signed a vibrant 6-pack of players for the 2013 Summer Season. The Warriors will be competing in the Far West League, and are beginning to compile their roster.

Cameron Merriwether is headed to Menlo College to play middle infield and outfield. Merriwether played at Diablo Valley College. The 6’2’’ Merriwether will add depth in the infield and outfield for the Warriors.

Robbie Tenerowicz is a standout third baseman for Campolindo HS. He is part of the 2013 Cal Berkeley recruiting class. Tenerowicz helped lead the Campolindo team to a 2012 NCS Championship. Tenerowicz was a major participant in the 2012 summer showcase circuit, attending the Perfect Game National Showcase, and also playing on the 2012 Northern California Area Code team.

Thomas Peterson is a RHP at West Valley College. Peterson is an imposing figure on the mound, standing 6’8’’, featuring a solid 3-pitch mix and a powerful fastball. Peterson will be a staple in the Warriors Bullpen this summer.

Michael Peterson is a RHP at West Valley College. The Pittsburgh Pirates drafted the 6’7’’ Peterson in 2012. Peterson played with the Warriors in Summer 2012, going 1-0 with a 3.31 ERA.

Tyler Davis is a second baseman for Chico State. He redshirted last year at Chico, and played in the Hawaiian Baseball League in Summer 2012. The 6’ ft infielder will be joining Cody Slader to form a dynamic double-play combo this summer.

Ryan Burke is a first baseman/outfielder for College of Marin. Burke played for the Warriors in Summer 2012. He will look to contribute this summer in the outfield and first base. He was a high school teammate of Catcher Mitchell Ho.
