Writing Between the Lines: 10-Minute Play Festival

The Playwrights' Lab and the Mill Valley Library present an evening of ten-minute comedies and dramas, all turning on the idea of Reading Between the Lines.  Five of the plays are by Lab members (Talkback To Follow by Hal Gelb; 50 Love Letters by Mercilee M. Jenkins; Use It or Lose It by Lynne Kaufman; Picking Up The Pieces by Cary Pepper; and Smile by Martin Russell).  Two others, by Mill Valley writers, were chosen from the Library's playwriting workshop (In-Between by Glenn Berkenkamp and Harvest Time by Naomi Newman). The plays will be directed by Hal Gelb, Phoebe Moyer, Ken Sonkin and Jael Weisman. An ensemble of 12 of the Bay Area's favorite actors will perform, including Stephanie Altholz, Joe Bellan, Tamar Cohn, Diahanna Davidson, Thomas Gorrebeeck,  Dana Kelly, Nancy Madden, Austin Nation, Jack Powell, Marica Pizzo and Maura Vaughn.
