The Art of Japanese Floral Design

Free and Open to the Public at the Outdoor Art Club, Mill Valley

Bridget Anderson will demonstrate ikebana from the Sogetsu School focusing on balance, harmony and form that goes beyond the traditional style. The Sogetsu School strives for a modern fresh expression in which there are no limits. Flower and plant materials of any type are arranged in containers for display.

Bridget has a first level teaching degree, which allows her to teach beginners in Sogetsu ikebana. She has taught 11-week courses in her home and at workshops.

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to create ikebana that are as individual and imaginative as the persons composing them.
