Sweet Blues - A Concert in Celebration of Mike Bloomfield

Sweet Blues, from co-directors Bob Sarles and Christina Keating, details the life of Michael Bloomfield, the groundbreaking blues guitarist and onetime Marin denizen. The film features features rare performance footage of Bloomfield wailing on his Les Paul as well as interviews with B.B. King, Bob Weir, Carlos Santana, Al Kooper, Charlie Musselwhite and other music legends.

Join us for this tribute concert featuring some of the artists in the film and other special guests, including including musical director/guitarist Jimmy Vivino (The Conan O’Brien Show) and producer/keyboardist Barry Goldberg (Electric Flag, Bob Dylan, Steven Stills), who together will lead an all-star band and jam featuring guitarist Nick Gravenites (Electric Flag). More special guests to be announced.
