Buddhist Temple of Marin members observe the annual Obon Service
and Odori Celebration on Sunday, July 17 at 2pm. Obon is the colorful occasion when Buddhists honor their
loved ones and express their appreciation with odori, or traditional Japanese dancing.
The Buddhist Temple of Marin is located at 390 Miller Avenue in Mill Valley, one block north of Whole Foods. The service and dancing are free and open to the public.
