Movie Night "High Noon"
On the day he gets married and hangs up his badge, lawman Will Kane (Gary Cooper) is told that Frank Miller (Ian McDonald), a killer he sent to prison, is out and returning on the noon train to get his revenge. After initially leaving town with hew new wife Amy (Grace Kelly), Will decides he must go back and face Miller. Amy, a Quaker, issues Will an ultimatum; she is leaving on the noon train with or without him. High Noon was nominated for Best Picture, Best Screenplay and Best Director in addition to the four Oscars it won for Best Musical Scoring, Best Original Song, Best Film Editing and Best Actor (Gary Cooper).
