The Artists of Mount
Tamalpais are offering an opportunity to combine love of
nature with appreciation of the arts at their 2nd Annual Open
Studios Art Trail on Sept. 7 and Sept. 8. Art lovers who are so inclined may join a docent with
knowledge of Mt. Tam and the artists, who live on and take inspiration from the
mountain, for an “Art Trail” walk. The fresh-air amble on mountain roads and
paths will take visitors to the artists’ studios, where paintings, drawings,
photographs, fine woodworking, textile arts, glass and ceramics will be on view
and for sale. Those who prefer the traditional car-to-studio tour
