Mindfulness Meditation Workshop @ O'Hanlon Ctr. for the Arts


  • Introductory Class:Saturday, July 12. 3 to 4:30 p.m.

  • $25, $20 OHCA members


Mindful awareness meditation is a practice and a path which leads to a peaceful mind, an open heart and an integrated life. Ongoing brain science research points to improved neurological function and increased clarity, focus and responsiveness to stress.

Introductory Session:

We will explore and experience the foundations of mindfulness, the calming breath, the body scan, and the power of Being Present Now.  This class is also an introduction to the subsequent sessions which are drop in, or may serve as a comfortable commitment to a regular mindful awareness practice and encourage you to re-connect with your own heart.

The Path to Mindful Awareness Series:

Mindfulness meditation is a practice and a path which leads to a peaceful mind, an open heart and an integrated life. Learn basic instruction in mindful awareness meditation and guided experiences to help you use the faculties of breath, mind and heart to find and take refuge in your own inner calm and awareness. The workshops can be experienced as a series or as stand-alone classes.

  • Friday,August 8: Letting go - Release yesterday’s baggage and today’s worry


  • Friday, August 22:Being Present: Live the experience you’re having NOW
