Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce Annual WINTERFEST

Mill Valley’s Depot Plaza will be filled with
live music, children playing and community camaraderie when the Mill Valley
Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the City of Mill Valley, brings in the
holiday season with a good dose of laughter, fun and a time for families to
celebrate the coming holidays at the annual Winterfest. The
festivities take place on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 1st from 11am to 6pm in
the Depot Plaza downtown Mill Valley. This event is FREE and open to the public

(except for the snow slide which is $2 per slide.)

The day’s attractions include the
famous snow slide, a holiday musical program, delicious holiday food &
drink, crafting for the kids, Sterling Johnson - The Bubblesmith, Santa in an
antique fire truck, holiday tree lighting ceremony, holiday costume contest
with merchants acting as judges who welcome costumed Winterfest participants
into their stores, Singers Marin with Caroling Kids and more special guests to
be announced.



Tree lighting ceremony by the Mayor
of Mill Valley will take place at 5pm on Sunday in the plaza at the southwest
corner, as well as the grove of trees on Throckmorton in front of the Chamber
offices.

Winterfest sponsors include Bradley
Real Estate, Bank of Marin, Mathnasium, Piazza D’Angelo, Bath Simple, EO
Exchange, Tam Bikes, Body Kinetics, Mill Valley Refuse, Mill Valley Services,
Bank of the West, and PG & E.  Holiday treats will be provided by
Piazza D’Angelo, Equator Coffee, Beth’s Community Kitchen, and Yum Chocolate
Salon.
