MEMORIAL VIGIL FOR NEWTOWN

Join us for a candlelight vigil honoring and commemorating the 20 children and 6 adults murdered at Sandy Hook School in Newtown, CT a year ago.  All across the country Organizing for Action (OFA) chapters will be hosting events,  in solidarity with and support of the still grieving Sandy Hook families and all those affected by gun violence.  This anniversary reminds us that Newtown could be Mill Valley and that we are all in this together.  The Mill Valley event will be especially poignant – a circle of 26 columns, each with a pair of shoes, a candle and a vase for flowers and each bearing the name of a victim will form the center of the vigil.  Participants are invited to place flowers and offer personal messages at each station.
