Wood’s natural grains and knots will guide the artistic process in this fun-filled drawing class.  Learn how to accentuate the subtle patterns of wood panels using dry media such as colored pencils and charcoal as well as layering techniques to get the results you desire.  Explore the surface textures and tones, uniting your handiwork with that of nature’s.  Please bring an interesting unvarnished (preferably knotty!) wood panel or scrap to work on but if you don’t have any, some will be provided. RSVP by November 14.
