Using your intuition, movement, poetry, and the natural environment you will be led through a myriad of techniques for the construction of painting roving and clamp resist. We will spend the evening dying animal fibers of wool and silk using "Itajime clamped resist"  on silk and also hand  painting  onto wool roving. Go home with a finished scarf or new materials to add to you quilts and artwork. This is a process to share together. This workshop promises many surprises – poignant, powerful, humorous, and flamboyant. Let this creative opportunity inspire other realms of your life. The beginner is welcome, as well as the seasoned artist.  For the workshop wear loose and dark clothing bring your older silks or get some from Sha Sha. Otherwise all basic materials provided $12.  RSVP by Jan. 23.
