Celebrate the Season with The San Francisco Music Club

Celebrate the Season - an evening with The San Francisco Music Club in concert with special guests! Opening the show, from Santa Cruz, the hot young Bluegrass band Maple Street 5,to be joined by SF Music Club members and Mill Valley’s own, Lorin on mandolin and Jimmy on dobro; followed by celtic harpist extraordinaire Amelia Romano and virtuoso cellist Misha Khalikulov. This duet features new world music and original compositions, perfect to get you into the Holiday Spirit. Then get your dancin' shoes on for an all out rockn set with SF Music Club's distinctive Afro-Cuban/Hi-Life, funky New Orleans, and R&B grooves! Their music is reminiscent of the classic Jamaican sound of Bob Marley & The Wailers; think Paul Simon’s Graceland with an extra helping of red beans and rice, a side of gumbo, and a Red Stripe--sprinkled with 21st century Americana-flavored rock-n-roll.

And it wouldn’t be Christmas without Dr. Elmo singing “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer," plus, injecting some sweet soul into the mix, Dylan and Lester Chambers (Chambers Brothers) performing their hit ‘People Get Ready’. Also, fresh from her appearance on American Idol, our very own velvet chanteuse, Emily Anne Reed, joins the band with her mesmerizing voice.

Chef Gordon is cookin’ up a special Holiday menu not to be missed. Come early, hang with the band, bring a new toy unwrapped (Toys for Tots) and get a free signed “Love & Freedom” CD as featured on KFOG radio.
