Beginner and intermediate potter’s will learn how to throw on the potter’s wheel and make functional pieces. The intermediate potter will learn how to transform a basic thrown form into a lively object with surface texturing or manipulation techniques. Students will learn throwing, trimming, glazing and manipulation techniques with forms including mugs, bowls, vases and tea pots. Includes up to 3 hours of open studio time each week.
This class meets once a week for six weeks. The studio is closed the week of Thanksgiving.
