“2013 "The Wild, Wild Rhubarb: Go West Young Vegetable"
Do people always tell you that you are funny? Do you want to write and perform your own comedy material?
Auditions for the 52nd annual Rhubarb Revue are scheduled Wednesday February 20th and Thursday February 21st, beginning at 7:30pm at the Tamalpais Valley Community Center, 203 Marin Ave., Mill Valley. Billed as “Northern California’s longest running comedy, cabaret, variety show, The Rhubarb Revue features comedic skits and routines involving singers, dancers and musicians.
- First time auditioners are asked to prepare one or more of the following:
- Singers prepare an up-tempo piece with accompaniment on CD,.
- Actors prepare a two minute comedic monologue.
- Self contained variety acts, dancers and musicians are needed.
- Returning actors --welcome back.
Performances are Sunday afternoon April 28th, doors open at 12:00 noon.
Friday and Saturday evenings, May 3rd and 4th and 10th and 11th, doors open 6:30PM. Rehearsals generally take place Monday and Thursday evenings a t 7:30 PM.
