Art Talk: Diebenkorn and Cézanne w/ DEBORAH LOFT

We will go into depth in looking at one or more of Diebenkorn’s landscape-related paintings, and compare this with Cézanne’s encounter with the landscapes of Provence.  In addition to her knowledge of the work of Diebenkorn, Professor Loft has explored Cézanne’s life and art for many years, including her experience painting and drawing from his  motifs in Provence, where she has both studied art and taught art history at the American University in Aix-en-Provence.  RSVP to save your seat by Oct. 17.
