American Lung Association Better Breathers Club

Better Breathers Club meetings provide support and education to those with lung disease to improve quality of life and are facilitated by a pulmonary nurse specialist. Meetings are held monthly second Wednesday of month in the 2/4 Lounge of The Redwoods, to the left of the front desk and down the hall past the cafeteria, and are open to family and caregivers.

The meeting facilitator is DorAnne Donesky, a pulmonary nurse specialist and UCSF researcher. For more information about the Better Breathers Club program, or for questions about lung disease and how to improve your quality of life, please call our Lung HelpLine, staffed by respiratory therapists and nurses, at 1-800-LUNG-USA (586-4872).

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
