Memorial Day Parade and Post Party May 27

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE - Mill Valley “LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL” Presented by the I Love A Parade Committee Monday, May 27, 2013 - 10:30am After parade party Mill Valley Community Center 12:00 to 5:00 - Free 180 Camino Alto, Mill Valley.

Let’s all play with our friends and neighbors and enjoy the parade through downtown Mill Valley starting at 10:30 from Old Mill School and ending up at the Community Center for the community after party and Kiddo! Carnival. Rides, Food, Music and Fun! Admission is Free.

This year "I Love a Parade" is in partnership with the National Safe Bike routes to School Program, our mission is to educate and support the children of Mill Valley and their families to live healthier, have a safer and less polluted town. Safe Routes to Schools Program http://www.saferoutestoschools.org/programs.html are designed to decrease traffic and pollution and increase the health of children and the community, Safe Routes to Schools promotes walking and biking to school, using education and incentives to show how much fun it can be!

There is an impressive lineup of live music on the grass of the Community Center starting at noon featuring Tommy Castro and the Painkillers w/special guest Bonnie Hayes, The 85's, Marble Party, Todd Morgan, Liza Oppenheimer and a closing jam with the KIDDO All-Star Band featuring Aaron Redner-Hot Buttered Rum, Dan 'Lebo' Lebowitz of ALO, James Nash of The Waybacks and very special guest Jerry Harrison from The Talking Heads!
