San Rafael Police Rank in Top Ten in U.S. for Twitter Followers – Do You Follow MVPD?
@MillValleyPD has only 489 followers, but you may want to become one to get updates on the East Blithedale construction this summer.
The San Rafael Police Department’s Twitter account has 4,236 followers, which is more than most of the other police departments of its size in the U.S.
That’s according to the IACP Center for Social Media’s recently released “Most Twitter Followers” top ten lists for various sizes of police agencies, ranking the San Rafael Police Police Department as #9 in a top 10 list of agencies with 50 to 99 sworn officers.
The Mill Valley Police Department's Twitter account @MillValleyPD has only 489 followers, but is considered an important community resource. As plans for construction on East Blithedale move forward this summer, the city plans to post updates via the feed.
