Repairs to Traffic Signal at Camino Alto and East Blithedale

Earlier this morning the traffic signal at Camino Alto and East Blithedale began experiencing technical difficulties which require immediate repair. City staff responded and crews are currently working on fixing the issue.  Repairs are estimated to begin around noon today and last until approximately 5:00 p.m. this afternoon. There will be City staff and Police Officers on the scene helping to direct traffic and mitigate the impacts to drivers. When updates on the traffic signal's condition are known, they will be provided to the public.

Why does it take the police an hour to show up and start directing traffic when this happens? Especially during the morning rush.

Well duh, all the Mill Valley donut shops have closed. They have come back to respond to calls.
