Thursday is Knit Night in Mill Valley

Beginners to advanced knitters can start a project or get guidance at Once Around arts and crafts store.

Novice to experienced knitters are invited to Knit Night at Mill Valley’s , an arts and crafts store, Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Hosted by owner, Julie Stanton, Knit Night is free and all ages are welcome. No need to bring any supplies.

“There is no knitting issue too big or too small for this weekly gathering,” said owner Julie Stanton. “Learn to knit, figure out cables, or start a pair of socks. Whatever it is, we will figure it out together.”

According to Stanton, Once Around is a Mill Valley art store that carries unique and high-quality art and craft supplies from around the globe. They also offer a variety of workshops and classes for beginners and experienced knitters.

The website of Once Around has helpful hints and links for all types of arts and crafts ideas including sewing, embroidery, knitting, paper crafts, and scrapbooking.

The store also offers felting, stamping, book-binding, fabric-painting, wreath-making, embossing, decoupage, candle-crafting, soap-pouring, and glitter supplies.

Starting September 6th, Once Around will be open Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
