Tam Valley Farmers Market Settles Into New Spot

Tuesday afternoon event moves to the Shoreline Shopping Center between TJ's Cross Fit and the Shoreline Coffee shop; runs through November.

The 5th annual opened last week in a new location designed to be closer to Shoreline Hwy. and reach more customers.

Lynn Bagley, the director of the Marin Community Farmers Markets Association, said the move from the market’s home at the to the new location in Shoreline Shopping Center between TJ’s Cross Fit and the  worked out great in its opening week, with about 20 vendors and dozens of shoppers at the debut on May 22.

“It was more about our need to be more visible and not be so far out of the way,” Bagley said of the move. The Parrish Trust, which owns the land, has provided free use of the land for the market, which is co-sponsored by the .

Market-goers can expect a seasonal bounty of organic and specialty fruits, vegetables, nuts, fresh-cut flowers, prepared artisan foods, breads, pastries and more every Tuesday throughout the season, Bagley said. The Roli Roti food truck is also on site, she said.

The Market is held every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. until November. The Shoreline Shopping Center is at 219 Shoreline Highway near .
