The Hummingbird, hands down the best in Marin! 10 oz Niman ranch patty--hand formed with amazing aioli on a fresh sourdough roll.

I can't vote unless you add my longtime favorite, Phyliss Giant Burgers, with two locations in Marin: http://www.phyllisgiantburgers.com/

Phyllis' in Novato has been added to the list. It was the top choice by Novato readers in a similar poll earlier this year, so it's a must!

We stopped going to Phyllis' in Novato when we were sitting there eating one night and a rather large cockroach scurried across the booth. Same reason we stopped going to Chao Phraya...

The Counter is the best with more choices and wonderful sauces than you can imagine. And wonderful sweet potato fries. But pricey for a hamburger and fries, averaging $20 per person.

Iron Springs Pub and Brewery now has a yummy veggie burger, hand made in house w/ grains from the mash tun, grated carrots, corn, all sorts of tasty veggies. None of that frozen hockey puck veggie burger stuff at Iron Springs!

I haven't had the burger at the Hummingbird yet; 'cuz I'm addicted to their fried chicken and waffle. More reason to go back to this wonderful N'Orleans meets Fairfax spot.
