Mill Valley Resident Stacks Chips at the World Series of Poker

Stephen Foutty placed 452 out of more than 6,500 players at a no-limit Texas Hold Em' event in Las Vegas.

Mill Valley resident Stephen Foutty bluffed his way into nearly $25,000 last week at the 43rd annual World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas. Held in Nevada's Rio Hotel and Casino, Foutty ranked 452 out of over 6,500 players in a no-limit Texas Hold Em' game.

In 2008, Foutty brought in almost $9,000 at a smaller event at the WSOP and raked in $6,000 in 2010. It seems that Foutty in honing his skills and climbing his way up the ladder to the higher stakes tables.

Now 38-years-old, Foutty has brought in a total of $66,640 at the WSOP throughout his career.
