I am not in the system either. I have been unemployed now for 3 years and look diligently every single day, even weekends. Trying to work in Marin County has never been this hard as it is NOW. I never had problems with getting employed and now it is a BIG PROBLEM.

I'm sure they are not counting all the unemployed illegal or "undocumentd" aliens "living in the shadows" comprising better than 50% of the population of any given rental complex in Novato. And if your anecdotal experiences and gut feelings are correct and we DO NOT have wealth of jobs waiting to be filled in Marin, what does that do to the hopes of developers, affordable housing czars, and would be builders of the Novato Grant-Central Station ? But then Nancy Pelosi reminds us that the good news of Obamacare means that more people will be free to disregard the job market and "follow their dreams " full time, to become a much needed artist or musician, while we, the taxpaying people provide the means to do so.

Main county's lower why, well people moved out, relocated and as everyone knows Obama care California coverage 83% FREE health care to all these illegal latino immigrants. So now all Seniors and others are now paying huge co payments to cover the costs of operating California Coverage. Ask Marin County Real Estate Board ALL the REO's they hide and new county name NIMBY County Ca.

B.S article. How many of those jobs are consistent with a livable wage? Do they include the employment of college students, illegal aliens, H1B visa workers? How many can raise a family on what they are paid for these "jobs". Thanks employers who pin the ignorant against those who expect decent conditions to produce quality. We owe you one, big time!
