Watch The Action as Lions are Rescued From Bolivian Circus Law Breakers at the MVFF Premiere of Lion Ark

ADI Ambassador and CSI star Jorja Fox will give a special introduction to the United States Premiere of action-documentary Lion Ark, at the CinéArts Sequoia Theatre for the Mill Valley Film Festival on Sat., Oct. 5 at 2 p.m.

According to a press release, the film was made more in the style of an action adventure than traditional documentary, Lion Ark follows an ambitious and daring animal rescue. A shocking undercover exposé leads Bolivia to ban animal circuses. But the circuses defy the law and the Animal Defenders International (ADI) team behind the investigation returns to track them down, enforce the law and save the animals. 

Known to 73 million viewers worldwide for her role as Sara Sidle in TV’s CSI, Jorja Fox is an ADI Ambassador and as well as appearing in the film her company Seafox Productions is an Associate Producer of Lion Ark.

Lion Ark begins with a shocking undercover investigation and leads to a ban on animal circuses in Bolivia; when the circuses defy the law, the team behind the investigation returns, tracking down the illegal circuses and saving every animal.

Following the film premiere, Fox will host a fundraiser after party to benefit animal rescue at Bungalow 44.
