Viewfinder: Hiking, Biking, Planting and Filming

This week our Viewfinder found residents, biking, hiking, planting, and watching an ad being photographed on Miller Avenue.

Several Mill Valley residents were caught by our Viewfinder out for a hike this week. Hikers on the Tennessee Valley Trail found a flock of wild turkeys, some deer, and a Garter Snake. All seemed to be enjoying the sunny day.

In downtown, we discovered a group of locals out for a bike ride up Mount Tam and some new art work in the Depot Plaza. The piece by local artist Eric Zener is part of the Ritter Center’s Art Houses of Marin project, a program to raise money to end homelessness in Marin.

The week started with Earth Day activities and the planting of trees at Boyle Park to honor the .

Finally, yesterday, our Viewfinder and a group of passerbys stopped to watch a film crew shooting a magazine ad for Progressive RV Insurance at the old Jack-in-the-box () on Miller Avenue.
