Viewfinder: Bobcats, Baseball and Blossoms

Hikers discover pollywogs, wildflowers and bobcats along local trails, while Mill Valley Little League gets into full swing.

Springtime is upon us, and that means the dawn of a new Mill Valley Little League season, the arrival or wildflowers, and even the rare appearance of a bobcat on a hillside field in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

Springtime hikes provide an opportunity for local residents to witness the blooming of a variety of wildflowers and wildlife. In addition to the bobcat, our Viewfinder caught a father and daughter watching some pollywogs in a trailside creek and a group of Marin moms and their babies out for an off-road stroller adventure.

On fields closer to home, little league got into full swing where baseball games are schedule almost every afternoon at Boyle Park.
