Viewfinder: Arts and Action Abound

Shakespeare rehearsals in Old Mill Park, free concerts in the Depot Plaza, renovations near completion at Old Mill School and new Dipsea steps open.

Our Viewfinder found creativity and activity all over town this week, including a group of actors rehearsing in for the Curtain Theatre production of William Shakespeare's . This free 2 p.m. show runs every Saturday and Sunday from Aug. 27 to Sept. 18, as well as Labor Day at Old Mill Park amphitheater behind .

The Mill Valley Art Commission continued its free this week with D’Amphibians and the Tom Finch Group performing last Saturday. The final concert is this Saturday at 3 p.m. in the .

Construction crews worked over the weekend in an attempt to complete the concrete work in front of Old Mill School before school opens, and finally, the renovated Dipsea steps opened this week.
