Thursday-Sunday:

is a hilarious tale of greed, corruption, love and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in gold. In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage caused by a 20-year drought has led to a government enforced ban on private toilets. A hero decides he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom.
If you go: Tickets are $18 general admission, $14 for students;  $30 for reserved seating and tickets can be bought by clicking here.  Thursday and Fridays curtain is at 7:30 p.m. while Saturday and Sunday’s matinees begin at 2 p.m. at , 142 Throckmorton in Mill Valley.

Come and enjoy the party of the year! This is the 3rd annual celebration and fundraiser to benefit Susan G Komen 3-day for the Cure and Team: Are We There Yet? This year, the team is walking in the Washington DC 3-day, a 60-mile walk for the cure, and needs your support. Four wonderful wineries, Toad Hollow, Atlas Peak, Pey Marin and Hearthstone will be pouring their wines for us with delicious food provided by Cihak. Ready to dance? Great music provided by Go Kat Go will get your hips moving! There's a raffle and a silent and live auction, check out some of the great items here. Come out, have fun and know that it's all for a wonderful cause.

Saturday:

Explore the paths, streets, and stairs of Mill Valley, Homestead Valley, and Tamalpais Valley, as well as parts of Strawberry! There are 30 locations circled on a map. On foot or bike, how many can you visit in 90 minutes? In three hours? Score points by visiting checkpoints in any order, and answer a simple question to prove you were there. Those who score the most are the winners! Be competitive or casual; go team or solo. Fun for families, runners, cyclists, and anyone who likes to explore!! Saturday:

The Wangari Trio performs world acoustic music that draws from East African music, jazz, rock and folk sounds. The trio, comprised of Wangari, Paul Thibeault and Gabriel Harris, got their start performing in house concerts and collaborating with NGO's in the San Francisco Bay area. Today they have risen to a level of national success, known for their activism and powerful concerts.
Wangari is a 24-year-old African songstress and humanitarian from Kenya. She began performing at national festivals from the young age of 7. With her exceptional voice she became one of Kenya's leading vocalists. Wangari, who credits Miriam Makeba as her mentor, began performing under the umbrella of organizations such as UNESCO, bringing awareness to the Rwandan genocide, Women Rape in the Congo and tribalism issues in Africa. Wangari has been dubbed a voice for the voiceless and the new Mama Africa.

Sunday:

Transition Mill Valley will present the documentary film The Power of Community on Sunday.There will be a potluck, a film viewing at 6 p.m. followed by a discussion. This film addresses the challenges of reducing energy use and how Cuba transitioned from fossil-fuel intensive farming to small, less energy intensive organic farms and urban gardens.
