Tam High Drama Presents Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew and Much Ado About Nothing

Don't miss the award winning Tamalpais High School's Conservatory Theater Ensemble performances Oct. 8-12.

Tamalpais High School’s Conservatory Theater Ensemble (CTE) presents Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew and Much Ado About Nothing. Each hour-long adaptation of these classics plays every night beginning Tuesday, October 8 and playing through Saturday, October 12 at the Caldwell Theater on Tam’s campus.

Conservatory Theater Ensemble is an award-winning dramatic arts program. Since its founding in 1976, CTE has provided students with a collaborative, comprehensive program that trains students in both the on-stage and off-stage elements of theatre.

These classic tales invite us to meet two different couples as they try to overcome difficulties such as sexism and prejudice, and teaches us to gain the freedom to define their own lives. This show demonstrates the meaning of true love and standing up for what we believe in. Directed by longtime CTE guest artist Julianna Rees, director of last year’s show, Arabian Nights. This talented ensemble of twenty-one students brings these characters to life.
