Jimmy Dillon Band Rocks Concert in the Plaza Wednesday

On the heels of Tom Rigney & Flambeau's raucous performance last week, longtime local guitarist anchors downtown summer series, which runs through Aug. 25.

Jimmy Dillon has a tough act to follow Wednesday evening.

The longtime local musician’s band plays the Art Commission’s free tonight at 6 p.m., hoping to maintain the party that Tom Rigney & Flambeau started last week.

Rigney & Flambeau lit up a large crowd at the Depot Plaza last Wednesday, with more than 50 dancers celebrating the balmy evening and several hundred more enjoying the Cajun fiddle tunes.
