Italian Street Pop-Up Art Today in Sausalito

Italian Street Painting Marin is set to launch their new Pop-Up Painting program November 1st at Copita Tequileria Y Comida located at 739 Bridgeway Sausalito. ISPM’s Pop-Up program offers opportunities for businesses and communities to showcase the street paintings of Bay Area artists.

ISPM artist and organizer Lisa Jones will be creating a street painting on Dia de Los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, to compliment the holiday’s celebration being held at Copita Tequileria Y Comida restaurant and tequila bar.

In honor of the Mexican holiday, Copita Tequileria Y Comida’s Co-owner Joanne Weir and Executive Chef Gonzalo Rivera will be offering a special prix fixe menu November 1st-3rd.  The restaurant will also be beautifully decorated, most prominently with the obligatory marigolds from the restaurant’s own organic garden.

Italian Street Painting Marin was formed in 2012 by a team of passionate individuals who wanted the San Francisco Bay Area community to continue to experience the performance art of street painting, and to provide financial support to nonprofit organizations offering arts programs for children and adults that otherwise would not have the opportunity to participate.

ISPM is a sponsored project of EveryLife Foundation for Rare Disease, a tax-exempt Section 501(c)(3) organization.
