Huey Lewis, Mill Valley native and frontman for Huey Lewis and the News, will sit down with author and journalist Joan Ryan as part of the Throckmorton's new A List Series of conversations with "authors, artists, athletes, adventurers, academics and anarchists."

Lewis attended Strawberry Point School and got his start in Mill Valley jazz-funk band Clover in the 1970s. He and Clover keyboardist Sean Hopper later formed Huey Lewis and the News and by 1985, they were riding a wave of four Billboard 100 top ten singles and loads of MTV airplay for the album Sports.
The band is celebrating their 30th anniversary this year with their ongoing "Still Workin' For a Living" tour, which includes a stop at Wente Vineyards in Livermore tha day after the Throckmorton event.
