As on America’s Got Talent over the past few months, has said that one of the hardest parts of the whole saga has been the weeks - even months - of down time between "these very short, 90-second performances."
On the heels of another extended break from the show that saw him squeeze in a at , it's go time for Hockenberry once again. He performs live in the show's semifinal round Tuesday night at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. It airs on NBC at 8 p.m. PT.
In a blog post to the AGT website two weeks ago, Hockenberry wrote, "Just finally figured out the song I am gonna perform for my next shot on AGT. It was not easy. Look for me and listen on September 4th. I will be the one in the band doing all of the singing."
Hockenberry also updated fans on his baby daughter: "Sonia Ray is growing like a summer weed! She is crawling to her mommy faster everyday." He also said that he and his girlfriend Bronwyn "decided we didn't have enough animals running around the place so we got 5 brand new chickens. If they laid as many eggs as they do chicken sh** then I would have no need to be competing for the million dollar prize on TV!"
