Where/When: 142 Throckmorton Ave., Mill Valley, Friday 7:30pm, Saturday and Sunday 2pm

Why Go: Because these talented young performers will sing their hearts out in this classic musical. Come and see them this weekend or next (mature themes so know your audience).

CAMP NIGHT

Where/When: Strawberry Recreation District, 118 East Strawberry Drive, Mill Valley, Thursday, 5:30pm-8:00pm

Why Go:Looking for a summer camp for the kids?  Here’s a great opportunity to check out and get info from over 70 camps. Parents and future campers can come and explore their options, jump in the jumphouse (that's for the kids) and maybe win a door prize.

FREE DAY AT THE BAY AREA DISCOVERY MUSEUM

Where/When: 557 McReynolds Rd., Fort Baker, Sausalito, Wednesday 9am-4pm

Why Go: The first Wednesday of each month is free and a fantastic opportunity for you and the kiddos to get out and play. So much to do, it could end up being an all day affair.

MARIN TEEN GIRL CONFERENCE

Where/When: Embassy Suites, 101 McIinnis Parkway, San Rafael, Saturday             8:30am-4pm

Why Go: If you have a middle school or high school daughter, this conference is all about empowerment. Workshops run the gamut from self esteem & body image to dealing with stress and communication. Check it out. For 6th to twelfth graders.

PICTURE BOOKS  & MORE GOOD ENOUGH TO EAT

Where/When Mill Valley Library, 375 Throckmorton Ave, March 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2:30pm-3:30pm & 4:30pm-5:30pm

Why Go:Do your kids love cool books? This 4-part after-school series for 1st and 2nd  graders begins next week but you need to pre-register because space is limited (that’s why it’s in this week’s planner). Call 415-389-4292 x106 to register.
