Legendary ex-Grateful Dead guitarist's latest group, The Ratdog Quartet, features Jay Lane, Robin Sylvester, and Jonathan Wilson. They'll play the Sweetwater March 3 and 4.

Fresh off a string of sold-out Furthur shows at the Sweetwater Music Hall he co-owns, legendary ex-Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir has a double dose of good news for fans, both of the immediate and down-the-road variety.

The Sweetwater announced today via its Facebook page that Weir will be joining Jorma Kaukonen, the veteran guitarist best known for his work with Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna, at Kaukonen's solo show there tonight.

Sweetwater officials said general admission standing tickets are currently available for $47, while general admission seating tickets are on sale for $62. The event begins at 9 p.m. and is nearly sold out.
