Two years ago, Bar Mitzvah partners Miller Klitsner and Zev Shearn-Nance had the idea to start a Rock and Roll fundraiser for their "Tikkun Olam" project. Tikkun Olam means "Healing the World." To date, they have raised thousands of dollars for local school music programs and towards rebuilding effortrs in Haiti in the wake of the devastating earthquake there.

In 2012, Youth Rock the Rebuild has three concerts planned. The first is celebratory, to . Those who have been around awhile know Sweetwater as a music venue that has hosted some of the most legendary musicians of the 20th Century.

The new Sweetwater, located in the newly renovated Masonic Auditorium in Mill Valley, is committed to providing not only great music by professional entertainers, but also to embrace the community by facilitating youth and other concerts as well as open mic. We are honored to be one of the first organizations invited to play in the new facility.
