Once upon a time around 1867, Farmer Ken’s grandparents started the now historic Woolly Egg Ranch. Today it is Tamalpais Valley’s only working sustainable farm.

The tour is an interactive walk through an actual working “green” farm.  Meet the barnyard regulars baaing sheep, and clucking chickens. Learn how to care for farm animals; about solar systems for farm vehicles run on bio fuels; water collection systems; and environmentally friendly chicken coops. Meet the Woolly Swarm our resident honey and pollen experts.

The fields can be uneven and muddy so wear appropriate foot wear and dress warmly.
