Wine & Gourmet Celebration

Pulling out the stops once again for all you wine and food connoisseurs in the Bay Area, the 30th Annual Mill Valley Wine & Gourmet Celebration will more than satisfy your palate with exquisite wines and delicious gourmet food. The highly anticipated summertime event will take place on the Depot Plaza in beautiful downtown Mill Valley. Day of sale tickets are available at Depot Plaza in Mill Valley.

 Founded in 1981 by Jim Canepa, former owner of , as a "little wine and cheese gathering," the Mill Valley Wine & Gourmet Food Tasting has evolved over time to become the preeminent event of its kind in the greater Bay Area. Noted for its crème de la crème selection of hard-to-find and sought after wines, as well as an amazing array of gourmet products and the hottest recipes from culinary world, this is a connoisseur opportunity not to be missed! Several of Marin's most highly regarded restaurants will enhance the event with signature tastings. wonderful music will also compliment the afternoon's activities on the Plaza.

Each year over 1,500 people from the Bay Area and northern California attend the Mill Valley Wine & Gourmet Celebration to enjoy the ultimate sensory experience for food and wine aficionados. In past years, gourmet food vendors have included: Good Faith Farms Olive Farm, Atelier Kawashina French Meringues, BR Cohn Olive Oil, Nicasio Valley Cheese Company, Candy Bar Cookie Jar, Nana Mae's Organics, Equator Coffees, Rustic Bakery, and many others.

Vintners from Napa, Sonoma, Alexander Valley and Mendocino, will be joined by wineries from throughout the Pacific Northwest. International wines from France, Spain, Australia, Greece and Argentina will also be featured. Also back by popular demand will be a selection of Pinot Noirs and Pinot Gris from Oregon vineyards.

Ticket sales will begin April 25th through Brown Paper Tickets. Day of sale tickets which include a commemorative wine glass and unlimited samples of food and wine are available at Depot Plaza in Mill Valley in downtown Mill Valley.

Because of legal, health and safety reasons, attendees must be 21 to be admitted and bicycles, strollers or dogs cannot be allowed in the event.
