The 85's Halloween Party

The 85's! "It's straight up old school party time!"

The 85's are a totally happening dance party band performing high energy and "true to the original" renditions of classic pop and rock songs from the 80's!

The band is comprised of five professional Marin native musicians: Monroe Grisman- Guitar/vocals, Adam 'bagel' Berkowitz-Drums/vocals, Django Bayless- Bass/vocals and Matt Denko on keyboards, all of whom graduated from Tamalpais High School in 1985. Each went on to perform with some of the North Bay's favorite bands over the past 20 years as current or past members of; Petty Theft, American Drag, Jerry Hannan, Noelle Hampton, and About Face. The band also features the superb female vocal talent of April Ryan Grisman who has worked with Eric Martin, Clarence Clemons, and Irene Cara.

The 85's were formed in 2005 after being asked to play some songs from their high school era at their 20th high school reunion for their fellow alumni: Bands like: The Clash, English Beat, Eurythmics, The Fixx, Madonna, The Police, The Pretenders, Prince, Talking Heads,Van Halen and much more!

The result: A total blast!!! And a new party band was formed!

Since then the band has performed in numerous clubs, high school reunions, weddings, and private parties. Anybody who loves the great dance songs of the 80's era will enjoy the 85's.

With a never ending selection of classic songs and music to choose from; The 85's continue to expand their song list and repertoire. There's no doubt about it, The 85's are a guaranteed killer time. Don't miss the party!
