Suzanne Ciani and Julio Mazziotti, "An Evening of Piano Solo"

It is with great excitement that pianst/composer Suzanne Ciani invites Argentinian pianist/composer Julio Mazziotti to share an evening of solo piano with her.

Mazziotti and Ciani met in 2010 at the “Primer Encuentro Internacional de Pianistas del Mundo,“ in Mallorca, Spain, where they were invited to inaugurate this prestigious festival.

In February 2011, Ciani toured South America and in Mendoza, Argentina, she shared an evening with Mazziotti.  “We took the city by storm!  Our concert was sold out, standing room only in the beautiful Teatro Independencia,  and now I want to reciprocate by inviting Julio to my home town, Mill Valley.  Julio’s music is as brilliant as he is charming and he comes from the same neo-classical romantic tradition as I do and I know my fans will love his music as much as I do!”

GRAMMY-nominated pianist Suzanne Ciani is a composer, recording artist, and pioneer in the field of electronic music and sound design. She is best loved for her fifteen albums of original music which feature her performances in a broad array of expressions: pure electronic, solo piano, piano with orchestra, and piano with jazz ensemble. Her music, renowned for its romantic, healing, and aesthetic qualities, has found a rapidly growing international audience, and her performances include numerous benefits for humanitarian causes.
