Monoprints allow for greatest opportunity of free expression with printmaking. The etching press will be used to assist in this fun, magical process. The pressure of the press offers unique textures only obtainable with this simple tool. During the workshop series the painterly print, relief printing, and plate making will be introduced. Print registration, multiple drop, stencil and chine colle will be included. Personal expression and inventive use of materials will be encouraged. Water-soluble inks will be used. All levels are welcome.
